The source was developed from Free Concept Car 004 by Unity Fan, released into the public domain under CC0. Eric Chadwick's version includes revised geometry, materials, textures, baked ambient occlusion, and an organized model hierarchy.

Changes for Byway

• Champagne body paint, graphite lower panels and brake calipers, and a warm stone interior.
• Removed the logo-bearing license plate and steering badge; removed unused materials and textures.
• Resolved the source's material variants into one finish, encoded textures as lossless WebP at their original dimensions, and compressed geometry using Meshopt. No geometry simplification was applied.
• Adjusted orientation, scale and ground placement; straightened the front wheels and separated rolling parts from stationary brake calipers.
