Askevågen

Askevågen sits at 7 ft elevation along the Atlanterhavsvegen, with terrain dropping 11 ft within 600 m of the overlook. To the east-southeast, Hustadbukta naturreservat lies 1.7 mi away at 11 ft elevation. Further along the same direction are Horberget, a peak at 616 ft some 2.5 mi off, and Litle Horberget, at 460 ft, 2.7 mi away. To the southeast, Aslaksteinen rises to 536 ft at 2.9 mi, and Lyngstadfjellet reaches 812 ft at 3.1 mi. Daylight hours vary across the year: on the June solstice, sunrise comes at 03:26 and sunset at 23:43, while the December solstice sees a much shorter span, from 10:09 to 14:52.
