Pikhetta, at 4,925 ft, stands due west at 11.0 mi, while Sandomshøe (4,425 ft) is due south at the same distance. The 240° orientation faces toward sunset, roughly 30° off square to it, so light from the setting sun crosses the view rather than sitting straight ahead. Sunset times shift widely through the year, from 14:51 at the December solstice to 23:17 at the June solstice, with the March and September equinoxes falling near 18:34 and 19:24.
