The main park visitor center is located in the Seward small boat harbor. The visitor center provides opportunities to view the park film, an Alaska Geographic bookstore, and park rangers to help answer questions about the area.

The Visitor Center is open from Memorial Day weekend (the weekend before the last Monday of May) through Labor Day (first Monday of September) unless otherwise noted. It offers a park film, exhibits, and an Alaska Geographic bookstore.
