The numbers that decide it

Recreation.gov publishes no site-level detail for this campground, so we cannot say what length of rig it takes. Call the managing office before committing to it in a large vehicle.

Site-level detail from Recreation.gov, checked 2026-08-05. Where a field says “not published”, the agency has not published it — it does not mean zero.

Little Joe Campground

Little Joe Campground is accessed via the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway, with awesome views of the surrounding mountain peaks, valleys, and forests. This is a small, quiet campground with 5 camping units, a picnic day-use area, ADA accessible vault toilet, and water. It does not have garbage services, so pack out what you pack in. Wise River runs nearby and provides easy access for fishing but there is not a boat ramp at this site.
