Cienega Equestrian Trailhead

Trailhead includes a large turnaround suitable for horse trailers. The trails associated with this trailhead are: Cienega Equestrian Bypass Trail 266 ; Armijo Trail 222; and Faulty Trail 195 . Please refer to the Sandia Mountain Trails map to plan your course. NOTE: Consider purchasing a more detailed map that includes contour lines, at the Supervisor’s Office or Regional Office. Locations of these offices can be found in the "Passes" info below. • Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed • It is the recreationist’s responsibility to use a map. • Trail(s) are open for the following uses: Hiking and Horseback Riding. Please not that trails may be closed seasonally, please call the district office for up to date information.
