Bell Farm Horse Camp

Bell Farm Horse Camp is a popular place for wagontrain riders who come to "rest a spell." The nearest hiking and horse trails in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Rock Creek , a State Wild River, runs along the camp. A Kentucky fishing license is required from Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. In the early 1900s this area was a logging and mining town. During the 1930s, a Civilian Conservation Corps camp was located here. The walnut trees you see here today were planted in 1953. Negative Coggins Test Required. The Kentucky Department of Agriculture requires a negative Coggins or similar test for equine infectious anemia and a valid certificate of veterinary inspection.
