KENTS LAKE CAMPGROUND

Overview Kents Lake Campground has 28 single family campsites and two multiple family campsites. It is in a beautiful, forested setting at an elevation of 8,800 feet. The campground is adjacent to Kents Lake, which is approximately 50 acres and suitable for small fishing boats and canoes. Kents Lake is stocked with a variety of trout, all catchable from shore or boat. Facilities Kents Lake Campground has 28 single family campsites and two multiple family campsites. Sites vary from back-in to pull-through sites and will accommodate trailers 24 to 60 feet long. All units have grills and/or fire rings and picnic tables. Drinking water is available throughout the campground. There are two vault toilets in the campground. There are no hook-ups available. The nearest dump station is in Beaver, UT. Natural Features The Fishlake National Forest in central Utah features majestic stands of aspen encircling open mountain meadows lush with a diverse community of forbs and grasses. Elk, deer, black bear, cougar, moose, wild turkeys, and mountain goats can be found on the forest. The campground is mainly in an aspen stand with a mix of conifers. The trees provide a range of shade depending on location. Some areas are lighter or heavier shade, depending on the site. The majority are well-shaded. Recreation Anglers can fish for brown, brook and rainbow trout in Kents Lake from the shore or small non-motorized boat. Trailheads to the Piute all terrain vehicle trail are close by, but there is no direct access from the campground.

Go to Kents Lake Campground on rec.gov for specific pricing and availability. There are 32 campsites in this campground with a 16 consecutive day camping limit. If not reserved the sites are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tables, fire rings and pits are at each camp site. Vault toilets available. Potable water is available during the summer season. Please Note: All campgrounds on the Fishlake National Forest are managed by High Country Recreation under the terms and conditions of a concession permit that was issued to them by the Forest Service in 2020. Restrictions

Open to all street legal vehicles including street legal OHVs for ingress and egress only. Horses are not allowed in the Campground. Pets must be on a leash. Camping limit is 16 consecutive days.
