Dates Available to Rent Year-round Max Party Size 12 Cost/Reservations Recreation.gov Schnaus Cabin is located 42 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT on the North Fork Road north of Polebridge. Schnaus cabin sits in the Whitefish Range of the Rocky Mountains. Schnaus has rustic accommodations including propane cook stove, heater, lights, wood stove, and vault toilet. Schnaus’s maximum party size is 12, accommodated with two double beds and a bunk bed on the main floor and twin beds in the loft. Please pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly bears live in the area; store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside the cabin. Pets are not allowed at Schnaus. Commercial use of the cabins is prohibited (outfitter guides, groups or organizations with compensated leaders/chaperons)
