Peters Mill Run/Taskers Gap OHV System
Known as the largest OHV trail system in the state of Virginia, Peters Mill Run and Taskers Gap OHV Trail System provides 36 miles of rugged adventure. Advanced riders will find challenges in steep, rocky and narrow trails, while others can enjoy trails that were once forest roads. All travelers will find mountain vistas, scenic rock outcroppings and the cool shade of deep forest. This trail has opportunities for Jeeps and other 4-wheeled drive vehicles, UTVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and electronic mountain bikes. Trail open to:

Restrictions
Ride only on roads and trails that are open and designated for Off-Highway Vehicle use. Trails blazed with the letter “V” are designated for Off-Highway Vehicle use. • Operators of motorcycles and ATVs must wear a Department of Transportation approved protective motorcycle helmet. • People 12-16 years old are permitted to operate ATVs of no more than 90cc. • Children less than 12 years old may operate ATVs of no more than 70 cc. • Riding with a passenger is prohibited unless ATV is designed and equipped to be operated with more than one rider. • All Virginia state laws apply • You may not drive in reckless manner or a manner that will endanger any person or property. You are responsible for your own safety. Trail use has inherent risks and you may encounter a variety of unexpected and /or dangerous conditions. It is your responsibility to be informed and take precautions.
