Juniper Campground
Juniper Campground is Quemado Ranger District’s most popular campground. It offers full RV hookups, leveled tent sites, and easy lake access. Maximum RV size is 35’.

Fees
Single sites cost $15 per night; double sites cost $25 per night. There are 17 RV sites with hookups and the fee is $25 per night, and odd-numbered electrical sites (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17) are available for reservation on Recreation.gov. These sites can accommodate a 35’ RV. there America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access Passes are honored for 1/2 off on camping fees.
Hours
All Gila NF campgrounds have a 14 day stay limit. Juniper Campground will be open from May 12 - Sept. 24, 2023.
Restrictions
There is a 14 day stay limit on all campgrounds on the Gila National Forest and the portion of the Apache Forest located in New Mexico. • OHV/ATV use is prohibited in the Quemado Lake Recreation Area. • Hunting and target shooting is prohibited in the recreation area. • All dogs must be on a leash at all times in the campground. • No tents are allowed in the RV loop. • Horses are prohibited in the Quemado Lake Recreation Area. There is a throwdown area outside the recreation area at El Caso Throwdown.
