Lodgepole Campground is a great place for anglers to enjoy the waters of the Taylor River. It is located in the Taylor Canyon, which supports a variety of outdoor activities. Campers can enjoy rafting with a number of outfitters from Gunnison, CO. Rock climbing is also popular in the canyon. The Fossil Ridge Wilderness Area lies one mile south of the campsite. Access to this natural area can be gained at the Summerville or South Lottis Trailheads. There are 16 campsites.
