Backbone Horse Campground
Backbone Horse Campground is a small, semi-primitive campground designed primarily for campers or picnickers that bring horses with them.

Fees
Camping fee: • $15.00/night for each site. Day Use Fee: • $5.00/day for day ride only
Hours
Open year round for hiking • Campground is open from Memorial Day through November. • All trails designated for horses are closed to horseback riding from March 15 th to May 1 st . This is due to muddy trail conditions and the increased potential for erosion and trail damage.
Restrictions
Camping rules: • Maximum stay is 14 days in any 30-day period. • Dogs must be on a leash at all times. • Quiet Hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. • Check out time is 2:00 PM.
