Mortimer Gulch Campground

Mortimer Gulch campground is located close to Gibson Resevoir with 26 campsites available for use. Fishing for rainbow or cutthroat trout in the reservoir and in the North Fork of the Sun River is an excellent way to spend the weekend away during the summer months. It is highly recommended that a 4WD vehicle is used to reach the cement boat ramp (1/2 mile away). Bears may frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers and remove all food from area after eating. Mandatory food storage is required.
