Hemlock Campground and Boat Launch

in Huron-Manistee National Forest

The numbers that decide it

Recreation.gov publishes no site-level detail for this campground, so we cannot say what length of rig it takes. Call the managing office before committing to it in a large vehicle.

Site-level detail from Recreation.gov, checked 2026-08-05. Where a field says “not published”, the agency has not published it — it does not mean zero.

Hemlock Campground and Boat Launch

This campground is located on the west end of Lake Mitchell near Cadillac. The lake is 1,600 acres and nearly surrounded by residences. The west end of the lake is marshy and good for wildlife viewing. The lake is not good for swimming at this end, due to milfoil and other plants. Flickr Photo Album
