Nira Campground

Nestled in large grove of Oak Trees. Manzana Creek runs through the campground. Trailhead for San Rafael Wilderness - Upper Manzana Creek Trail to the Manzana Narrows. There are 12 campsites. Reservations: 9 sites are now on the reservation system: www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. (3 campsites) are on a first-come, first- serve basis . Cash only for first-come, first-serve campsites. In campgrounds and picnic areas, dogs mst be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.

Concession-managed campground by the Parks Management Company for the Forest Service. $30/night, $10/extra vehicle fee per night. Interagency Senior and Acess Passes provide pass holders 50% off of camping fees - not valid for day use or extra vehicle parking fee. $10 parking fee per day at the Nira Trailhead (Manzana Creek Trail to Manzana Narrows.

Campground check-in time: 3:00pm, check-out time: 12:00 noon. Quiet Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am.
