The numbers that decide it

Brush Creek Work Center Barracks

The Brush Creek Work Center Barracks underwent an extensive renovation in 2023. Check out the recreation.gov website for photos of the updated cabin. The barracks is available for reservations! This all electric bi-level house was built in 1981 for temporary employees and has four bedrooms with 2 twin beds per bedroom, a small living room, large kitchen/dining area, two bathrooms with showers. The kitchen is modern with a refrigerator, stove and microwave. Basic kitchen utensils are provided. Please clean the barracks when you leave and remove all trash to help us discourage rodents. No pets or livestock allowed. Cell phone coverage is fair in the area. The Barracks is located in the Snowy Range and is managed by the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District. To reach the Barracks from Saratoga, WY drive south 8 miles on Hwy 130 to the junction of Hwy 130 and Hwy 230. Turn east on Highway 130 and continue 12 miles to the Brush Creek Work Center. Turn into the Work Center and drive to the third building on the right, the bi-level house. The Barracks parking area is plowed regularly.
