Alexander Springs Campground
At Alexander Springs Recreation Area, enjoy a shaded campground within an easy walk of the springs swimming and picnic area. This 67-unit campground can accommodate tents and recreation vehicles (up to 35-feet long). The concessionaire sells a variety of snacks, souvenirs, ice, charcoal, firewood, beach items and personal items. (Please note: No food is cooked on site by the concessionaire). ** NOTE: Limited internet may affect operations. Please come prepared to make purchases with cash. Camping • The 67-unit campground can accomodate tents and recreation vehicles up to 35-feet long. • Expect full recreation sites during weekends. • Visitors are recommended to arrive early and have back-up plans . • Recreation sites may close when maximum capacity is reached. • Alexander Springs campsites sites are available by reservation -- Call (877) 444-6777 or visit Recreation.gov . • The maximum stay is 14-consecutive days in a 30-day period. • Detailed camping regulations are posted and available at the entrance gate house. • Electrical, water or sewer hookups are not available; Hot showers and a dump station are provided.

Hours
Alexander Springs Recreation area is open from 8 a.m. to dusk. Campers have 24-hour access to the gates with an access code.
Restrictions
All freshwater fishing regulations of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission apply. • All Ocala National Forest campgrounds allow pets, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and are not permitted in designated swimming and picnic areas. • There is a maximum stay limit of 14 consecutive days in a 30-day period.
