Uwharrie Hunt Camp
Uwharrie Hunt Camp has eight sites for tent camping. Each site has a table, grill, lantern posts, and tent pad. Two vault toilets and trash cans are provided in the campground. There are also 2 drinking water spigots available. Campers have to park in the one parking lot and walk to their campsite. Opportunities for hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, hunting, OHV trail use and picnicking are available within a short drive. Country stores are located in the nearby communities of Uwharrie and Eldorado.

Fees
The sites are $5 per night. Use the fee envelopes at the fee station and fee tube to pay your camping fee. The Senior and Access Interagency Pass Discounts are $2.50 per site. Cash or check is accepted, make checks out to USDA Forest Service.

Open year round. The sites are first come first serve. Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 2:00 p.m.
