Twisp River Horse Camp
This forested horse camp is located in the southwest end of Twisp River Area. Gives access to nearby trails Twisp River Trail #440 , South Creek Trail #401 and the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness . Loading ramp, hitch rails and feed stations are available. Campground area is intended for stock users. Maximum length of site is 30 feet. This camp is maintained by the Methow Valley Chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of Washington. No trash receptacles provided.

$10/Night for single unit plus $5 per extra vehicle. (2 vehicles per site maximum)
Restrictions
Wilderness regulations apply in Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. A backcountry permit is required from North Cascades National Park to camp on the National Park. A backcountry pemit can be obtained at the National Park Service office in Marblemount or week-days at Methow Valley Ranger District office in Winthrop. Motorized or mechanized vehicles are prohibited. Certified weed free hay is required on National forestlands (processed grains are okay).
