War Creek Campground

Located near the confluence of War Creek and the Twisp River, this forested campground has two sections. One section stretches along the seasonal War Creek and has long parking aprons that are well-suited to recreational vehicles. The sounds of Twisp River can be heard in the distance. There are a few sites in a small grassy meadow. Mature Douglas fir provide ample shade to most campsites. The other section is small and just off the roadway. It is best suited for smaller vehicles as well as tent campers. A thick middle and understory in both sections provide good privacy between some sites. There are trailheads nearby. Rattlesnakes occasionally seen in the area.
