Grouse Campground

Grouse Campground is situated along the shore of Goose Lake, among an Engelmann Spruce and Lodgepole Pine forest at an elevation of 6,350’. Each of 21 sites includes a picnic table and fire ring. There is typically a volunteer camp host and potable water available on site. 12 sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while another nine sites can be reserved up to six months in advance at: recreation.gov . The Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to single campsites only. The campground has no hookups or trash receptacles. Please pack out your trash. There is a boat ramp adjacent to the campground. The Lake has a "no-wake" restriction however motorized use is permitted. Grouse Campground Recreation Opportunity Guide PDF
