Angel of Shavano Campground

The Angel of Shavano Campground is ideally suited for tent camping. The campsites are wooded with aspen and spruce trees along the north fork of the south Arkansas River. The Angel of Shavano Trailhead for the Colorado Trail #1776 is across the road from the campground. Dispersed camping spots may be found along 4x4 road FS 240) between Angel of Shavano and North Fork campgrounds.

First-come, first-served

Fees

$25 per site for overnight camping . Two vehicles or one RV per site is included in the camping fee. $10 for a third vehicle. $10 fee for day use if not camping overnight. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available. Sites must be occupied the first night of payment. Interagency Senior/Access passes valid for 50% discount to the camping fee for one site.

Restrictions

Maximum 8 persons per site. • Tents and vehicles must be in designated spots. • Dogs must be leashed. • Stay limit of 14 consecutive days.
