Mogote - Juniper Group Camping Site

The group area campground, among Ponderosa, Aspen, Spruce, Cottonwoods and juniper trees, has a capacity of up to 100 people. It is a short walk to the fast-moving Conejos River. This is a pleasant and attractive campground that is excellent for large groups the area can accommodate several RV’s as well as tents. Picnic tables are fairly well-shaded. This campground is by reservation only. Consider a day trip on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad (steam) which offers a 64-mile journey through abandoned mining towns.
