Pinyon Flat Campground

Pinyon Flat is an 18-site first-come first-served campground located within the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Surrounded by a tranquil desert landscape and nearby Santa Rosa Wilderness Area, this campground is great for those who like to hike, especially when the springtime flowers are in bloom. Wood and Charcoal fires are currently allowed, in Forest Service provided firerings only. Please check current Fire Restrictions as they can change. Campers may use propane or similar fueled cook stoves with an on/off valve year around. Pinyon Trail 5E03 is located on the western side of the campground.
