Kroeger Campground

Kroeger Campground is located in beautiful La Plata Canyon, with 10 campsites shaded by a mixture of spruce, fir, aspen, and cottonwood. One site has a double table and large parking area. Another is suitable for a long RV; most sites do not accommodate larger RVs. There is one pull-thru. Please do not trespass on the private property adjacent to the campground. Services include include water, fire grates, picnic tables, and vault toilets and a host on site. T here is no trash pickup; trash must be packed out. Bear-safe food storage is mandatory. Camping is allowed only in developed campgrounds and designated dispersed camping areas. Campfires are allowed only in the metal fire grates provided for your use.

Quiet time is typically between 10pm - 6am. Please be a good neighbor and limit use of generators to no more than one hour at a time. • Dogs must be leashed or otherwise physically restrained. Do not leave pets unattended. • Check-out time: 12:00 pm; Check-in time: 2:00 pm - if the site is empty, campers may come in anytime. • Standard single site occupancy is 8, but a single family with > 8 members is acceptable. • Equipment with wheels (RVs, campers, cars) must fit in the parking spur. There is not any overflow parking available. • Max RV size = 25 ft
