Jones Valley Inlet Shoreline Campground

The Jones Valley Inlet is open to shoreline camping year round. Portable restrooms and trash receptacles are provided from March 1 - October 31, all other times it is a Pack-In, Pack-Out site, water is not available. During fire season, a valid California campfire permit is required for the use of campfires, charcoal fires, portable stoves using gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel. During fire restrictions, wood or charcoal fires must be a least 50 feet from any vegetation and within 10 feet of the waters edge. The free campfire permits can be acquired at any Forest Service, CalFire or Bureau of Land Management office or online at PreventWildfireCA.org

Open Year Round; services (portable restrooms and trash receptacles) are available March 1 - October 31. Note: Camping maybe closed from December 1- December 31, check with the Shasta Lake Ranger Station for the latest information.

Restrictions

Camping on any area below the high water mark of Shasta Lake in the Jones Valley Cove is prohibited per Forest Order 14-58-32 between November 1st and March 1st of any year.
