It is located at the junction of Highway 108 and Kennedy Meadow Road, about 27 miles from the Summit Ranger Station. There are 44 sites with a few doubles and 2 walk-in sites. The main road is paved; parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Each site has a table and a fire ring. Hydrants serve several sites as a water source. Toilets are vault-style. Fee charged for extra vehicle parking.

Fees
Kennedy Meadows Resort and Pack Station operate Baker Campground and charge the following fees: • $25.00 for a single-family site • $50.00 for a double-family site Kennedy Meadows Resort operates this campground under a special use permit administered by the Forest Service. The fees paid by concessionaires finance the refurbishment of facilities in the campgrounds they operate. The Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes are honored and provide a 50 percent discount on camping fees in the campground. Discount does not apply to double or group sites. Pass number must be written on fee envelope or Pass must be shown to Host. The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping. Passes are not accepted for double sites.
Restrictions
Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days. Max length for RV/Trailers - 36ft
