Italio River Cabin
This A-frame cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, oil stove for heat and an outside toilet. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. Please remember to store food properly and pack out all trash, to minimize bear and human conflicts. The Italio River is located about 30 miles down the coast from Yakutat and is a popular place for sight-seeing, wildlife viewing, beach combing, and coho fishing.
