PLEASE NOTE : A recent storm has resulted in damage to the North Neva shelter. A large windthrown spruce struck the three-sided shelter and repairs will be needed to address damage to the roof and possibly other shelter components. A full assessment of the shelter and grounds will be made soon with scheduling of repairs to follow. The Sitka Ranger District asks people to refrain from accessing the shelter until further notice.
