Timbre Ridge Lake
This beautiful 100-acre lake is located on the Ironton Ranger District in Lawrence County, Ohio. The surrounding forested hills will make a picturesque backdrop for fishing, hunting, camping, or hiking trip to this tranquil lake. There are over 1,200 acres of Wayne National Forest surrounding Timbre Ridge Lake. Please respect private property during your visit, there are a few small private lots near the dam on the north side of the lake.

The parking area, dam, and boat ramp are closed from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. unless you are fishing or camping at Timbre Ridge Lake.
Restrictions
Electric motors only may be used to power your boat. Possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the lake, dam, boat launch, and within 100’ of the lakeshore and in the parking lots. The area is periodically patrolled by the U.S. Forest Service, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, and Ohio Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Officers.
