Doublehead Cabin
The Doublehead Cabin was constructed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). This log cabin sits atop the summit of North Doublehead Mountain with beautiful views of Mount Washington, the Presidential Range, and on into Maine on a clear day. The cabin is accessed by the Doublehead Ski Trail , a 1.8 mile trail with steep grades used by skiers and hikers.. Cabin Amenities The cabin is very rustic with minimal amenities; there are eight wooden bunks in four partitioned “rooms”, two small tables, benches, and a wood stove. An outhouse is located a short distance away.
