Lincoln Gulch Campground

The Lincoln Gulch Campground has 7 campsites situated in a lodgepole pine forest close to Independence Pass Road. Sites are available for public use, and many recreational activities, including hiking, biking, 4 wheel driving, and fishing, may be enjoyed from this location. Please note that vehicles over 35 feet in length are prohibited over Independence Pass. View Dates and Fees

Independence Pass is narrow, steep and winding. Absolutely no vehicles over 35 feet in length, or vehicle/trailer combinations over 35 feet in length, are permitted between MP 47.2 (Aspen side) and MP 84.2 (Leadville/Twin Lakes side, about one mile west of the junction with US 24).
