To the south-southwest, at 0.4 miles, two water features are visible: the Bassin de pêche sportive à l'esturgeon jaune at 13 feet and the Bassin de pêche sportive au doré jaune at 26 feet. Cap Anderson rises to 197 feet to the south at 1.1 miles, while Cap Samson reaches 256 feet to the southeast at 1.5 miles. Pointe Atkinson is visible to the east at 1.4 miles and 16 feet in elevation, and the Rivière à la Scie can be seen to the east-northeast at 2.3 miles, at 13 feet. Sunrise and sunset times vary by season: near the March equinox, the sun rises at 06:49 and sets at 18:58; at the June solstice, sunrise is at 04:52 and sunset at 20:43; near the September equinox, sunrise is 06:33 and sunset 18:45; and at the December solstice, sunrise is 07:28 with sunset at 16:00. This overlook is preceded by Earl Grey Terrace and followed by Belvédère de la côte de Sillery along the route.
