Belvédère du Château

The terrain drops 670 ft within 600 m of the overlook, giving an open view across the surrounding ridgelines. Le Pic sans Nom rises to the south at 1.4 mi (5,128 ft), with Lachens visible to the south-southwest at 2.2 mi (5,623 ft). To the southeast, Tete de Cornet appears at 2.7 mi (4,833 ft), and the Col de Valferrière saddle sits at 3.1 mi (3,835 ft) in the same direction. The Col de la Cornille saddle lies east-southeast at 2.7 mi (4,596 ft), while L'Audibergue extends the view further east-southeast to 5.7 mi (5,387 ft). Sunrise and sunset shift with the seasons: around 06:38 and 18:45 at the March equinox, 05:52 and 21:20 at the June solstice, 07:21 and 19:33 at the September equinox, and 08:05 and 16:59 at the December solstice. This overlook follows Point de vue and precedes Belvédère du Bauroux along the route.
