Two other viewpoints are visible from here: Steilnes bird hide, 3.8 mi to the southeast at 20 ft elevation, and Klondyke, 4.0 mi east-southeast at 111 ft. Daylight varies sharply through the year at this latitude. At the March equinox, sunrise is at 04:57 and sunset at 17:12; by the September equinox, sunrise shifts to 05:35 and sunset to 18:04.
