Brandon Creek

Brandon Creek sits along the Wild Atlantic Way at an elevation of 76 feet, with the land dropping 76 feet within 600 meters of the overlook. To the northeast, Binn na mBan rises 1,119 feet at a distance of 1.7 miles. Further east-northeast, a cluster of higher peaks comes into view: Cnoc Bréanainn (mullach i gcéin thuaidh) at 2,603 feet, 2.4 miles away; Piaras Mór at 2,324 feet, 2.8 miles away; its northern summit, Piaras Mór (mullach thuaidh), at 2,301 feet, 2.9 miles away; and Más an Tiompáin at 2,453 feet, 3.2 miles distant. Brandon Creek is a small village on the Dingle Peninsula, with the town of Dingle located 13 km to the south via the R549 road. This lookout falls between The Priests Leap and St Brendan the Navigator on the route. Daylight hours vary through the year, from a sunrise of 05:20 and sunset of 22:07 at the June solstice to a sunrise of 08:49 and sunset of 16:31 at the December solstice, with the equinox sunrises and sunsets falling near 06:45–07:28 and 18:54–19:42.
