This overlook sits at 154 ft along the Chemin du Roy, facing 30° toward the north-northeast. The terrain drops 141 ft within 600 meters of the viewpoint. Pointe de Lévy, a cape, lies to the northeast at 1.2 miles, with the Rivière Saint-Charles visible in nearly the same direction at the same distance. Further north, the Rivière Beauport appears at 3.0 miles, and the cliffs of Le Cap and La Falaise rise to the north-northeast at 3.5 and 3.9 miles respectively, reaching elevations of 82 ft and 72 ft. Several bodies of water appear in the middle and far distance: bassin Canac-Marquis at 4.2 miles, Bassin des Pionieres de Beauport at 4.7 miles, Bassin de la Parentiere to the north at the same distance, and the Étang des Bernaches and Étang de la Côte, both under 5 miles out. Sunrise and sunset times shift across the year, with June solstice sunrise at 04:51 and December solstice sunset at 16:00. The lookout connects to L on one side and Dufferin on the other along the byway.
