Two waterfalls are visible to the west-southwest: Dei Sju Systrene at 2.7 mi (1,185 ft) and Brudesløret at 3.8 mi (1,335 ft). Daylight varies by season, with sunrise at 03:39 and sunset at 23:28 around the June solstice, and sunrise at 09:57 and sunset at 15:03 near the December solstice. Equinox daylight runs from about 06:34 to 18:45 in March and 07:15 to 19:35 in September. The overlook is preceded by Korsmyra and followed by Laushornet along the byway.
