Located just off the scenic Beartooth Highway , the area is popular for fishing, hiking, and scenic driving. Greenough Lake is 0.2 miles from the campground and offers canoeing, kayaking, and rainbow trout fishing. The Main Fork of Rock Creek is also a popular fishing stream. The Beartooth Wilderness can be accessed via the nearby Hellroaring and Lake Fork trailheads. Visitors also enjoy mountain biking and hiking on the Parkside National Recreation Trail. Hellroaring Road is open to off-road vehicles. Facilities: The campground offers 18 single-family campsites; two are accessible. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Accessible vault toilets and hand-pumped drinking water are provided. Safety: Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in approved containers, a locked vehicle, or provided food storage lockers. Mount Maurice Trail (#6) , Corral Creek Trail (#9) , Bear Track Trail (#8) , Lake Fork Trail (#2) , Parkside Trail (#103) , Hellroaring Plateau Trail (#11) , Glacier Lake Trail (#3) , Sheridan Campground , Rattin Campground , Parkside Campground , Limber Pine Campground , and M-K Campground are also located in the Main Fork Rock Creek drainage.

Fees
$20 includes one driving vehicle. • $10 each additional vehicle. Two non-towed vehicles may be parked per site. The first vehicle is included in the basic fee; the second vehicle is charged an extra fee collected at the campground. Firewood bundles can be purchased from the campground host for $7.
