Westwood, New Jersey is a small borough contained in the gateway region of New Jersey. Nicknamed the “Hub of Pascack Valley,” Westwood is a borough in Bergen County. The borough itself is approximately 2.3 square miles in size making it a small yet still densely populated town. Westwood began as a farming community however the town began to truly develop when the Hackensack and New York Railroad was completed in 1870, this railway is still in existence and is now called the Pascack Valley Line.
