Interstate 5 (I-5) runs through Woodland off of Exit #21 (SR-503 Woodland Cougar) to & State Route 503 (SR-503) connects Woodland to Mt St Helens via Cougar. From Cougar the road becomes Forest Rd 90 which skirts the south of Mt St Helens to its junction with Forest Rd 25. Go north on Forest Rd 25 which goes between Mt St Helens and Mt Adams. Access to Mt St Helens from Windy Ridge on FR 99 from FR 25. SR-503 goes through town as Lewis River Rd.
