Bridal Veil Falls viewpoint

This overlook on the Cascade Loop sits at 659 feet, facing 200 degrees, with the land dropping 169 feet within 600 meters of the viewpoint. Looking south-southwest, three sections of Bridal Veil Falls are visible: the Lower East Cascade at 1.2 miles, the Mine Cascade at 1.3 miles, and the Upper Cascade at 1.6 miles. Logjam Falls and the Valley Overlook viewpoint are also in view at 1.6 miles, both to the south-southwest. Beyond these, several peaks rise in the distance: Middle Index at 2.2 miles, Philadelphia Mountain at 2.2 miles to the south-southeast, Mount Index at 2.5 miles, and Mount Persis at 2.6 miles to the west-southwest. Mount Index is a Cascade Range peak in King County, Washington, lying just south of the Skykomish River and U.S. Route 2; it consists of three pointed spires rising steeply from a low base, with its North Peak climbing more than 4,250 feet above the valley in under a mile. The nearest towns are Bellevue at 32.2 miles, Seattle at 38.4 miles, and Kent at 42.7 miles, all to the west-southwest or southwest. The previous stop on this route is the View of Baring Mountain.
