Goat Hill Overlook

Goat Hill Overlook sits at 410 feet along the Delaware River Scenic Byway, facing 240 degrees with the land dropping 369 feet within 600 meters of the viewpoint. Solebury Mountain rises to the west-southwest at 2.4 miles, with Jericho Mountain visible to the south at 3.7 miles and Buckingham Mountain farther out to the west-southwest at 5.9 miles. Aquetong Spring Park lies west at 2.6 miles, and Honey Hollow Watershed and Laurel Park are both situated to the west-northwest, at 3.8 and 4.3 miles respectively. The Natural Lands Diabase Preserve, not open to the public, is visible to the south-southwest at 3.6 miles. Because the overlook faces 30 degrees off square from due west, the view aligns toward sunset. Sunset times vary through the year, from 16:37 at the December solstice to 20:34 at the June solstice. Philadelphia lies 30.2 miles to the south-southwest, Edison is the same distance to the east-northeast, and Allentown is 32.8 miles to the west-northwest.
