Grant Meadow Overlook

Grant Meadow Overlook sits at 1,192 feet along the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway, facing 310 degrees with the land dropping 49 feet within 600 meters of the pullout. The view opens northwest and west toward Table Rock, at 3,123 feet, and a viewpoint 1.5 miles out at 3,072 feet, with the Table Rock view point sitting north-northwest at 2,881 feet. Halfway Shelter is visible to the west-northwest at 1.8 miles, and three waterfalls line up to the west: Spring Bluff Falls at 2.2 miles, Pinnacle Mountain Falls at 2.3 miles, and Mill Creek Falls at 2.4 miles. The 310-degree orientation faces toward sunset, roughly 40 degrees off square from due west, which puts the higher terrain and falls in the same general direction as the evening light. Greenville is 20.5 miles to the southeast, Greer 26.7 miles east-southeast, and Anderson 36.5 miles to the south. Chandler Rock Overlook is the previous stop along this route.
