Green River Overlook

Green River Overlook sits at 4,487 feet on the Dinosaur Diamond Scenic Byway, at mile 1074 of 1663. Green River lies 3.1 miles to the north, with Moab 42.3 miles southeast and Cleveland 45.9 miles northwest. To the west, at distances between roughly 14 and 16 miles, are Black Dragon Pictographs, Spirit Arch, Dragon Point, and Tip Top Arch, ranging from 4,759 to 6,025 feet in elevation. South and south-southwest, at about 16 miles, are The Cone and Shine Point, both under 4,850 feet. The previous lookout along the byway is River Overlook. Sunrise and sunset times shift across the year, from a 05:56 sunrise at the June solstice to a 07:37 sunrise at the December solstice, with sunset ranging from 17:02 in December to 20:50 in June.
