High Cliffs Overlook

High Cliffs Overlook sits at 1,891 feet along the Gunflint Trail Scenic Byway, facing 330 degrees. The land drops 285 feet within 600 meters of the overlook, giving an open view across the terrain below. Lookout Point, a viewpoint at 1,698 feet, lies 0.4 miles to the north, and Magnetic Rock, a feature at 1,805 feet, is visible 2.9 miles to the west-northwest. Grand Marais is 29.6 miles southeast, Lutsen is 29.9 miles south, and Tofte is 35.1 miles south of the overlook.
