Mount Si over Snoqualmie Mill Pond

This overlook sits along the byway between SR 522 and SR 90 near North Bend, at 416 feet elevation with the ground dropping about 8 feet over the next 600 meters. The view faces 113°, roughly toward sunrise, and looks out over the Snoqualmie Mill Pond toward Mount Si. Three Forks Natural Area lies closest, 1.4 miles to the east-southeast at 422 feet. Several municipal parks are visible farther off to the south-southeast and southeast, between 3.2 and 3.6 miles away: Gardiner Weeks Memorial Park, William Henry Taylor Railroad Park, E J Roberts Park, Si View Park, Torguson Park, and Forster Woods Lower Park, the last of these sitting notably higher at 606 feet. Bellevue is 18.1 miles to the west-northwest, Seattle 24.1 miles in the same direction, and Tacoma 35 miles to the southwest. The previous stop along this route is the Snoqualmie Falls Viewpoint - Lower. Because the view faces close to sunrise, morning light reaches this spot directly, with sunrise times ranging from about 5:11 a.m. at the June solstice to 7:53 a.m. at the December solstice.
