Mount Trashmore Scenic Overlook sits at 913 ft along the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway, facing 328°. Jay Park lies to the west at 0.8 miles, with Riverfront Park and Bret Sunner Memorial Park to the northwest between 0.9 and 1.1 miles, and Greene Square to the north-northwest at 1.3 miles. Cedar Rapids is 1.4 miles to the northwest, while Iowa City lies 21.7 miles south-southeast and Waterloo 50.9 miles northwest.
