This overlook sits at 252 feet along the byway connecting West Lake Sammamish Parkway near Issaquah to SR 970 near Cle Elum, facing 30 degrees with terrain dropping 220 feet within 600 meters. The view faces toward the north and east across a series of shoreline parks. Sammamish Cove Park lies 0.3 miles east-northeast at 38 feet, with Tibbetts Beach and its picnic area 0.5 miles in the same direction. To the north, Sammamish Beach Club Park and South Cove Park sit at 0.5 and 0.8 miles, while Sammamish Beach Club Hill Park (Tract-D) and Meerwood Park lie north-northwest at 0.4 and 0.6 miles. Farther out, Blackberry Park and Greenwood Point Park appear north-northwest at 1.1 and 1.3 miles, with Alexander Beach at 1.3 miles to the north-northeast.
